The small and large bowel has different lengths depending upon the species. Dog food manufacturers use to push grain made dog foods, which caused a mucoid plaque buildup on the intestinal walls. A lot of humans and pets eat a high protein diet which frugivores can’t handle. Even in omnivores a high protein diet can destroy the animal, especially breaking down gut and kidney tissues. Proteins are calcium robbing and inflammatory. This is one reason you see all the hip dysplasia and tumors in dogs. Our Alcohol-Free GI formula cleans the wall of the intestines and enhances absorption of nutrients. There are hepatic (liver) and pancreatic strengthening properties in this formula as well.
