Its peculiar hot and pungent taste and smell is transferred to its essential oil – it really does smell of actual ginger. This herb has been associated with food preservation, preparation and assimilation. Ginger provides energy to listless areas of the body and revives sluggish sexuality.

Aroma: Base-Middle Note

Perfume: Hot and spicy, opulent. Very alive with hint of lemon and pepper.

Blends well with: citrus and spicy oils such as cardamom, cinnamon, coriander, clove, frankincense, geranium, lemon, lime, orange, rosemary, eucalyptus, spearmint and verbena.
