This Australian Sandalwood essential oil is, grown and processed locally in the Australia’s South West, where it is native. Admirers have called Sandalwood ‘Liquid Gold’ due to its precious nature and it is one of the oldest incense materials with recorded use for at least 4000 years. Sandalwood loves the skin, protecting from and dealing with myriad irritations. A lovely base note fixative for perfumery. Restores equilibrium, allays stress and restlessness and is grounding for meditation. Relaxant by nature, calms tension in the body and discomfort. The thick and viscous oil is distilled from the mature wood – the older the tree, the richer the oil.

Aroma: Base Note.

Perfume: Warm, rich and balsamic. Sweet and woody.

Blends well with: bergamot, black pepper, clove, geranium, lavender, myrrh, rose, vetivert and ylang ylang.
