Scent Story: Ode to Orange is a fresh and joyous cologne that brings the vitality of a living orange tree to your senses. There was no need to look elsewhere for other botanical tributes to complete this engaging fragrance. It cleverly constructs its own citrus symphony of scent by using three parts of the tree itself; neroli oil from the orange flower, petit grain from the orange leaves and bergamot from a special orange fruit rind. These elements that make up the tree and the perfume are then beautifully layered in an orange-flower water base. (This is a hydrosol – a by-product of distilling orange flower oil.) This all makes for an authentic alchemical experience of nature that has been deconstructed from earthly form then reconstructed into the ethereal for us to imbibe on subtler levels.
