It has been enjoyed by many cultures for hundreds of years and is “a must” for every medicine cabinet. • Therapeutic Use / Dosage Oral use: Swedish Bitters is a bitter tonic, traditionally used in herbal medicine to support digestion and to assist with mild digestive symptoms such as indigestion, bloating, flatulence, constipation and lack of appetite. This product contains Aloe, which has traditionally been used in herbal medicine as a laxative, to assist with the relief of constipation (Directions: take 10 to 20 mL in 100 mL of water/juice/herb tea 30 minutes before meals). Swedish Bitters also contains Black cohosh, traditionally used in herbal medicine to assist in the relief of premenstrual symptoms and help relieve symptoms associated with menopause such as hot flushes, sweating, sleeping disorders and nervous tension (Directions: take 21 mL twice daily in 100 mL of water/juice/herb tea). • External use: Swedish Bitters has been traditionally used in herbal medicine to support the healing and repair of minor skin ailments (Directions: soak a piece of gauze with product and apply for 2-4 hours covering with a bandage). • Gargle: Traditionally used in herbal medicine, Swedish Bitters is gargled for the relief of sore throats and toothache (Directions: add 60 mL of product to 250 mL lukewarm water). • Precautions Use only as directed and always read the label. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner. Not recommended for use in children under 12 years or by pregnant or lactating women. Not recommended in cases of gastric/duodenal ulcers.
