This is a complete distillation. Ylang Ylang essential oil often undergoes a disrupted distillation process whereby five grades of essential oil are collected.  ‘Complete’ indicates that the oil is the total result of an uninterrupted 20-24 hour water and steam distillation of the fresh flowers, rendering a genuine, full-spectrum or complete oil instead of the usual shorter distillation time in which the other fractions are kept completely separate. A stage-three part-distillation of Ylang Ylang is also available.

Aroma: Middle to Base Note

Perfume: The deepest, richest expression of the floral Ylang, prized by perfumers for its sweet, voluptuous, full spectrum of aromatic notes.

Blends well with: bergamot, cedarwood, clary-sage, clove, geranium, nutmeg, sandalwood, vetivert

Precautions: Non toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising oil. Considered safe to use during pregnancy. However some people do have sensitivities and excessive use can lead to headaches and nausea.
